My name is Monica Arriaga. I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Milano working across brand identity, strategic design, and industrial design.
I enjoy creating exciting experiences that make imagination thrive, be it illustration, writing, or thinking. My work has been strongly influenced by my home in Mexico and its millennia-long history, a heritage deeply marked by its contrasts. I am also a contemporary dance enthusiast and a reluctant entrepreneur.
I am currently a Master of Science student at Politecnico di Milano. I have worked as an Innovation Strategist at Cirklo –the leading consultancy in social innovation in Mexico and Latin America–, where I achieved to develop the firm's innovation portfolio, trend forecast, and methodology development. During my early career, I worked as an Industrial Design Intern at Studio José de la O.
I am passionate about creativity in all its forms. For me, Design is a tool to help us interpret and transform our environment in a more interesting, sustainable place, where well-being and amazing experiences can thrive.
